Inside the Center was where people who were homeless found online and onsite jobs, housing (with the partnership of local agencies), mentors to encourage and guide their next steps to becoming self-suficient, and a "can do" and "welcome" atmosphere where anything and all things are possible.

Onward and Upward Community Online Work Center was the place where people experiencing homelessness and joblessness received education, encouragement and empowerment to take the steps necessary to land a job, secure housing and never be homeless again.

With classroom training, people learned how to seek, find, and apply for jobs. They were guided through the interview and onboarding stages. While they worked at their computer stations, they were fed healthy food, snacks, and given healthy beverages.

Dedicated Volunteers taught classes, prepared meals, raised funds, conducted intake sessions, coordinated housing, coordinated transportation, mentored, and represented our organization to local governments.

There was a 97% success rate in helping people get back on their feet. Mainly due to the teaching, mentoring, and guidance provided at the Community Online Work Center.

A group of people coming together strategizing the how, when, where and what --- already knowing the WHY
Strategic steps (simplified)
To open and operate a Community Online Work Cener and implement the Prosperity Pathways Workbridge program - Gather a group of 3 to 5 people who volunteer.
Secure a location (making sure to have space for classroom and computer work stations)
Furnish the inside
Start the program and watch lives transform
It takes as long as it takes to gather together 3 to 5 dedicated people to work together, securing a location that has space for a classroom separate from the computer work stations, have a mini-kitchen area, and at least two offices (one of them for intakes), furnishings and removations, funding to pay for utilities, water, internet, and have a program in place for participants to learn, earn, and graduate.
The cost depends on the rent for the space, the utilities, internet, water, food and drink (if not donated), computer and office supplies, insurance, transportation (if transporting program participants from somewhere to the Center).
Within 5 days of opening the Community Online Work Center, one of our program participants was hired fulltime earning a nice salary. In fact, this person's family called him to come back to them and completed the remainder requirements to graduate from his family's home. [Side note: there were a lot of families that reunited and came back together]
