About Us: We Give A Hand Up
The Onward & Upward organization is a private and nonprofit Community Online Work Center (COWC) that has taken the lead in providing instruction and facilitation for people who are experiencing homelessness and joblessness in our community and are finding it extremely difficult to get hired.
The main objective is to help homeless and jobless citizens to get hired to work for an online employer and work their online job at one of our work stations for up to 8 hours per day inside the Onward & Upward Community Online Work Center.
After 6 months (or less), they can take their computer that we have provided to their home and continue working for their online employer from the comfort of their home.
Our Vision
If a person receives one meal, all they eat is one meal; if a person has the means to support themselves, now they have more than one meal .. and eat for a lifetime.
Our goal and vision is to help the homeless get back on their feet and be independent and never be homeless again.
